Hi, my name is John Killmer and I’m a software developer.
I’ve been helping companies of all sizes achieve their business outcomes with clean code and resilient architecture for over two decades. I enjoy breaking up large complex problems into small manageable ones. But the part of my job I love most is coaching and mentoring other developers. As I’ve learned the hard way, technical aptitude is not enough, so I’m driven to help engineers develop their soft skills and maximize their productivity habits to live better more fulfilling careers.
I started this blog as a personal project to collect and organize the resources I’ve found helpful as well as document and distill what I’m learning into simple and consumable content. I hope it can help other IT professionals in their careers.
